Ivanka Trump turned heads at the White House State Dinner with King Charles and Queen Camilla, appearing every bit the modern-day princess in a dramatic baby-blue dress.

The First Daughter wore a soft blue gown by Reem Acra, featuring a sleeveless silhouette, a high neckline, and a draped, cape-like accent. The collar, bodice, and cuffs were embellished with intricate, gold sequined embroidery, while the sheer overlay flowed into a subtle mini train.

Ivanka's luscious blonde locks were styled into soft waves, swept behind her ears, while her makeup oozed soft glam, courtesy of a smoky eye, a pinch of blush, and a glossy lip. She accessorized with a pair of diamond-encrusted stud earrings.

President Donald Trump hosted the British royals in Washington for their historic state visit. The state dinner saw guests arrive in their white tie attire, with men expected to dress in black tailcoats, waistcoats and white bow ties, while women wear full-length evening gowns, with royals opting to wear tiaras.

The dinner included a starter of  garden herb velouté, alongside a hearts of palm salad, and finished with crisp toasted shallots and micro mint. The second course featured handcrafted spring herb ravioli, with herbs from the White House Kitchen Garden, filled with creamy ricotta, morels, dressed with a light parmesan emulsion. Next, a classic dover sole meunière in a nutty brown butter was served, complemented by sweet snow peas, layered potatoes pave and a parsley oil. Dessert was a chocolate gâteau with a vanilla bean cremeux custard and an almond joconde.

There were also a variety of wines on offer – a Hopkins Riesling “Heritage” 2024, Hopkins Vineyards, the Penner-Ash Pinot Noir “Willamette Valley” 2022, Penner-Ash Wine Cellars and the Newton Chardonnay “Unfiltered” 2022, Newton Vineyard.

Ivanka Trump's fashion

This isn't the first time Ivanka has chosen a Cinderella-inspired dress for a special occasion. She wore a turquoise sequin cape gown from Jenny Packham for her daughter Arabella’s Bar Mitzvah in June 2023. The $6,091 'Lotus Lady' Cape-Effect Embellished Tulle Gown from the coveted British designer was paired with open-toe heels.

The glitzy gown echoed The Princess of Wales' Jenny Packham 'Embellished Margot Gown' that she wore to the World premiere of 'No Time to Die' in September 2021. The iconic golden gown featured a sculpted twisted waist, a plunging neckline and a billowing cape embellished with cascading sequins.

Even Ivanka's forest-green Dior skirt suit for her father's inauguration referenced Kate's sartorial agenda. Inspired by Dior’s Fall 1950 Haute Couture collection, the look was styled with a matching hat and a pair of leather black gloves. The garment was cinched at the waist by a skinny black belt and teamed with an elegant Lady Dior bag.

The look channelled Kate's LK Bennett green ensemble from March 2012, with the two-piece suit featuring a stylish v-neck jacket and a matching pencil skirt.
