Meet Stanley Tucci's wife with a very famous sister and their blended family of five kids
The Devil Wears Prada star welcomed three children with his first wife, and two kids with his current wife, and now it's time to learn all about their family ties
Stanley Tucci is busy in both his professional and personal life. The Devil Wears Pradaactor is a doting father to five children from his two marriages.
He has a blended family which includes three children from his first marriage to his late wife Kate Tucci, and two kids with his current wife Felicity Blunt.
The star, who has been a father figure both on-screen and off, knows a thing or two about parenting, therefore we're taking a deep dive into his family ties below.
Stanley is the proud dad to twins Nicolo Tucci and Isabel Tucci, who were born in 2000, as well as Camilla Tucci, who was born two years later, whom he welcomed into the world with Kate.
He is also a doting father to Matteo Oliver, born in 2015 and Emilia Giovanna, who was born in 2018, whom he shares with his second wife Felicity.
Kate attended Lawrence University and then studied at New York University later on. Community was important to her, as she worked as both a philanthropist and social worker.
On top of that, she also served as a producer on series such as Blind Date. The pair tied the knot in 1995, and stayed married until Kate sadly passed away in 2009 from breast cancer at the age of 47.
It's a small world after all. Felicity is Emily Blunts' sister and the duo fittingly met during the 2006 premiere of The Devil Wears Prada, and at the time, Stanley was still married to Kate.
A year after Kate's passing, Stanley and Kate reconnected at a wedding in Italy and the two secretly tied the knot in 2012.
Besides being an A-lister's sister, she is also a literary agent at the company Curtis Brown.
She shared a bit about herself on the brand's website and wrote: "My fiction tastes are broad but are unified by my desire to represent unique stories and smart voices."
Felicity added: "What I want is to feel passionate about the narrative and believe absolutely in the world an author has crafted." The pair have also co-authored The Tucci Table.
In 2021, Stanley got candid about his first wife with CBS Sunday Mornings and shared: "You never stop grieving. It's still hard after 11 years. It's still hard. And it will always be hard. But you can't let it... and she would never want any of us to ever wallow in that grief and let it take over our lives. She would never want that. She wasn't like that."
He spoke about his fears about entering into his current relationship and revealed in 2023 on the Desert Island Discs podcast: "I was kind of afraid to get into a relationship, and I kept trying to break it off. I'm 21 years older than she is and I didn't want to feel old for the rest of my life! But I knew this was an incredibly special person."
Stanley shared just how important having quality time is with his family and how he's continuing his traditions.
He told The Guardian: "Bringing up my own kids, with my wife Kate, we sat down to dinner every night together. We both loved cooking. Whenever we traveled for work, we would always get a place with a kitchen so we could cook."
Stanley continued: "Now, my wife, Felicity Blunt, and I continue to do that with the kids and our two-year-old son, Matteo. Food has become a kind of obsession with me, but it is more than that, it is another limb or organ, it is part of who I am. It is vital that you have a meal together; nothing is more bonding or more healing."
The dynamic duo not only had a strong mother-daughter relationship, but they also acted together on projects such as their joint memoir, "Honey, Baby, Mine"
