Nicole Kidman was a proud mom on Monday night when she stepped out with her daughter, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, at the Met Gala. The 17-year-old made her debut at the glamorous event, for which Nicole served as co-chair alongside Venus Williams, Beyoncé, and Anna Wintour.
The Scarpetta actress looked incredible in a sequined red Chanel gown with long sleeves, a flowing train and matching scarlet feathers at the hips and cuffs.
She accessorized with Chanel jewelry and an Omega timepiece, and channeled Rapunzel with her long, flowing blonde hair that fell straight down her back and reached the feathering at her hips.
Sunday Rose twinned with equally as long hair, which reached her hips. A section of her brunette locks was separated and pulled to the front so that it flowed down the side of her gown, giving a glamorous effect.
The budding model opted for a strapless pink Dior dress with pink and blue floral embellishments on the bodice and a sheer column skirt. She added matching floral pink statement earrings to complete the look and made a splash on the green carpet at her first-ever Met Gala.
Nicole is serving as the co-chair of the event for the third time, with the first being in 2003 for the theme Goddess: The Classical Mode, and again in 2005 for The House of Chanel exhibit.
The theme of the 2026 Met Gala is Costume Art, while the dress code is Fashion Is Art. The dress code asks guests to "illuminate the indivisible connection between clothing and the body" and the "complex interplay between artistic representations of the body and fashion as an embodied art form."
Sunday Rose shares a passion for fashion with Nicole and has walked the runway several times despite her young age. She debuted as a model on the Miu Miu runway at Paris Fashion Week in 2024, and walked at the Christian Dior show in Paris in 2026.
The brunette beauty shared with Nylon that her mother and her father, Keith Urban, had imposed strict rules on her budding career.
"There are two big rules," she told the publication. "The first was that I couldn't explore any kind of fashion work until I was 16, and the second is that school always has to come first, which at first I hated, but I am actually really glad that I have these rules in place because it keeps me in a good mindset."
Nicole and Keith split in September 2025 after 19 years of marriage, and finalized their divorce in January 2026. They also share a younger daughter, Faith, who joined her mom and sister at the Chanel show in Paris on October 6, just days after the separation was announced.
