Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn primarily live on their ranch in Aspen, Colorado, but the pair once owned a pad in the Pacific Palisades region of California, which came with an unusual feature in the backyard.
According to the New York Post, during Tombstone actor Kurt's, 75, and The First Wives Club star Goldie's time owning the home, "a meditation hut stood by the pool". Though little information is publicly available about the meditation hut, fans can assume that this was a private space for the pair to unwind, whether individually or together.

Speaking to the Guardian in 2020 about her discovery of meditation in the 1970s, Goldie, now 80, said: "My experience was visceral, it was amazing. I rediscovered something in that one sitting. I can’t explain the joy that was brought back to me.

The couple, who have been together since 1983, having met in 1966 on the set of Disney's The One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band, purchased their Pacific Palisades home in 2005 for $4.1 million and sold it to the current owners for $6.9 million in 2017.
It was listed once again in October 2025, having risen in value to $13.49 million. The meditation hut aside, the property also featured several skylights for a bright and airy feel, as well as five bedrooms, five baths and four fireplaces.
Kurt and Goldie's mountain bolthole
Now, Goldie and Kurt spend most of their time in Aspen, where their son Wyatt Russell, 39, and the Cactus Flower actress' daughter, Kate Hudson, 46, and son, Oliver Hudson, 49, visit her often. In fact, in 2022, Oliver revealed that not much has changed about his mother's Colorado ranch home since she bought it in the 1980s.

Those curtains that you see are like 30 years old, you know what I mean? Mom refuses to update, which kind of is great."
