Princess Eugenie turns 36 today. The daughter of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson will likely be keeping her celebrations low-key this year, as it comes amid the ongoing scandal involving her parents' controversial ties to paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein.
The Duchess of Edinburgh's London outing
The Duchess of Edinburgh will step out in London today to attend the Jane Goodall Institute's Hope Gala Dinner at The Peninsula, 1 Grosvenor Place.
It's been a busy few weeks for Duchess Sophie, who, earlier this month, was in New York City, attending the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women meeting. Prior to that, Sophie joined her husband, Prince Edward, in Italy for the closing ceremony of the Paralympic Games.
Princess Eugenie is reportedly refusing to let her mother move in
According to a new report, Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank are reportedly refusing to let her mother Sarah Ferguson temporarily move in with their family after being evicted from Royal Lodge.
A new report by the Daily Mail suggests the 35-year-old royal's businessman husband is putting his foot down about letting Sarah take refuse in their home, amid the ongoing scandal involving Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and his ex-wife's controversial ties to paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein.
Princess Eugenie's personal crisis
Princess Eugenie's 36th birthday comes during a turbulent time for her family stemming from the scandal involving her parents' connection with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Speaking on HELLO!'s A Right Royal podcast, Matt Wilkinson, Royal Editor for The Sun, said that Eugenie and her sister Beatrice are "probably going through a complete and utter personal crisis".
"I've got sympathy for both Beatrice and Eugenie, and I'd like to see them somehow rehabilitated and used properly in the royal family," said Matt. "I think the King wants her, wants them both, to not pay for the sins of their parents, but I'm not sure there is mass public sympathy for them at the moment. They're probably going through a complete and utter personal crisis."

King Charles' plans on grandson Prince Archie's birthday
The date of King Charles's first Garden Party of 2026 will fall on the birthday of Prince Archie, the son of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Three Garden Parties will take place this summer in the Buckingham Palace Garden, as well as one at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh, celebrating frontline workers from across the United Kingdom.

According to a new report in the Mail on Sunday, the husband of the eldest daughter of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson has recently spent time abroad, including travelling to Florida earlier this month to work on a new project for his company, Banda Property.
Sources have claimed that Edoardo is keen to keep his business separate from the scandal surrounding Andrew.

Meghan Markle's potential return to the UK
The Duchess of Sussex has not been back to the UK since September 2022, when she attended the funeral of the late Queen Elizabeth II.
In the latest episode of HELLO!'s A Right Royal Podcast, Matt Wilkinson, Royal Editor of The Sun, spoke about the possibility of Meghan returning to UK soil – and it will only be when her husband Prince Harry has won his security legal battle and his protection is reinstated, which could happen by the summer.
"I think we will know if they've got their security back if Meghan comes this summer for the Invictus Games year-out event," said Matt.
"If Meghan comes to the UK, then you can guarantee that they've won their security deal. But I think we'll have to wait. I think we'll have to wait until the summer."

Princess Eugenie is turning 36 today, but it's likely to be a low-key occasion due to the York family's ongoing Epstein scandal.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has installed a white mobile home in the grounds of his new home in Norfolk. It is intended for use by his security staff, as there is no longer room in the property itself after he recently downsized., HELLO! understands.
The home was placed in the former Duke of York's back garden at Marsh Farm in Wolferton on the Sandringham Estate.

Prince Edward, The Duke of Edinburgh and Duchess Sophie have reportedly earned up to £130,000 annually by subletting a converted stable block at their Bagshot Park estate.
While the couple occupies the 120-room Surrey mansion under a long-term lease with a nominal "peppercorn rent," the 6,667-square-foot Grade II listed stables have been utilised as premium office space.
Located 400 meters from the main residence, the office space was recently marketed for £10,834 per month. The facility boasts modern amenities, including meeting rooms, fibre connectivity, and 30 parking spaces.

In continuation of the Prince and Princess's confirmation preparations, the future confirmands participated in the castle church's Sunday service together with their grandmother, Queen Margrethe.
Over the past 100 years, Fredensborg Castle Church has been the centre for particularly royal confirmations. Both Queen Margrethe and King Frederik King were confirmed here in 1955 and 1981, respectively.
Swedish celebration of the Royal Academy of Letters
New pictures have been released from a Swedish royal outing last week.
King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia attended the annual celebration of the Royal Academy of Letters.
The Academy was founded by Queen Lovisa Ulrika on 20 March 1753. Its primary purpose is to promote and finance research in the humanities and social sciences, as well as cultural heritage conservation.
During the annual celebration, the King awarded, among other things, the Gad Rausing Prize to archaeology professor Gavin Lucas from the University of Iceland for outstanding humanistic research in 2026.
