Queen Elizabeth's 'unknown' bridesmaid dress unearthed - and it was just like this Hollywood star
Queen Elizabeth II had already begun to subtly make waves in the fashion world aged eight, two years before she was thrust into the spotlight as the future British monarch when her uncle Edward VIII abdicated.
The then-Princess was pictured posing for a photo at her other uncle, Prince George, Duke of Kent's wedding to Princess Marina of Greece and Denmark in 1934. This was one of the late royal's most iconic yet "unknown" dresses, according to Caroline de Guitaut, who has put together Queen Elizabeth II: Her Life in Style, which is a comprehensive exhibition of the late Queen’s clothing in The King’s Gallery at Buckingham Palace from 10 April to 18 October.

Princess Amalia leads the future European queens using 'daring' wardrobes to signal their power
For decades, the image of a crown princess was associated with waiting, discretion, and the repetition of inherited codes. Today, however, something is changing. Princess Leonor of Spain, 20, Princess Elisabeth of Belgium, 24, Princess Catharina Amalia of the Netherlands, 22, and Princess Ingrid Alexandra of Norway, 22, are part of a generation of European heirs who are growing up in the public eye while building, step by step, their own identities.
They are young, contemporaries, born just four years apart, and are in the midst of a life transition.
It is particularly revealing that, while the United Kingdom will not have a queen for at least three generations, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, and Sweden are moving toward a future led by women. And in this context, clothing ceases to be a superficial detail and becomes a tool for communication.
See some of their forward fashion here.

The untitled series, penned by Francisca X. Hu (Teacup), is billed as an "upstairs-downstairs drama," according to Deadline. HELLO! understands there are also more productions in the works.
It comes after Meghan's As ever brand cut ties with Netflix earlier this month and a report in Variety magazine that stated the relationship was "done".

Is Mette-Marit's interview anything like Andrew's?
Crown Princess Mette-Marit gave an interview to Norwegian broadcaster NRK last week over her links with the convicted paedophile, Jeffrey Epstein. The royal appeared to have emailled the disgraced financier on several occasions, even making disparaging remarks about certain royal events.
However, was her interview anything like Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's car crash appearance on Newsnight? Niklas Kokkinn-Thoresen, the editor-in-chief of Se og Hør, has spoken to Best Quality Designer Handbag to reveal how the interview went down in Norway...

Where is Fergie? The growing mystery of Sarah Ferguson's public absence
Sarah Ferguson could give Waldo a run for his money. Unlike the striped-shirt book character who hides in plain sight, the former Duchess of York has been flying under the radar, even before her ex-husband Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's arrest. So, where is Sarah?
"The thing with Sarah though is if she wanted to be seen, she would be," The Sun's Royal Editor Matt Wilkinson said on HELLO!'s A Right Royal podcast. "It's amazing that you can as famous as you are, Sarah Ferguson, you can find a way to hide away."
And of course "there are certainly ways to avoid" being photographed, as HELLO!'s own Emily Nash pointed out.
