Royal throwback of the day
Princess Diana was behind some of the most iconic style moments in royal history, but one of her most memorable appearances occurred in 1981.
While attending 'The Splendours Of The Gonzagas' exhibition gala at London's Victoria and Albert Museum, she famously fell asleep in front of the press, earning her the nickname of a real-life 'Sleeping Beauty.'
The Princess had a perfectly understandable reason for her fatigue: the very next day, the palace announced her first pregnancy, explaining the exhaustion behind her famous nap.
Our Fashion and Beauty News Editor, Laura Sutcliffe, is taking a deep dive into the iconic moment.
Prince William's reaction to Taylor Swift wedding invite

Appearing on Heart Radio with Amanda Holden and Jamie Theakston, the future King, 43, acted coy when asked by the hosts if he had landed an invitation, to which he answered: "No comment."
We can't tell from his coy response whether or not he's received a coveted invite in the post, but one thing's for sure, the Wales family are huge Swifties.
"Charlotte, my daughter and Louis are fans. Charlotte, particularly, is obsessed with Taylor Swift. She saw her in the Eras Tour, it was amazing. We did meet her," he said.
Hats off to Kate
When it comes to warm-weather royal fashion, nobody does it quite like the Princess of Wales. While strict dress codes mean headwear is essential for events like Royal Ascot, Kate's love for a fabulous hat goes far beyond the racecourse.
To break down her iconic look, award-winning personal stylist Susie Hasler, founder of Styled by Susie, shares why Kate's headwear choices always hit the mark:
"The Princess of Wales is a master of modern headgear. Whatever hat she chooses, whether a percher style, a wide-brim look, or even a casual cap, she always achieves a refined and modern silhouette that still feels regal," she tells us.

Belgian princess prepares for graduation
Belgian Crown Princess Elisabeth, 24, is expected to graduate from Harvard in the US next Thursday, making her the most highly educated heir to the throne of all time. The future queen began her two-year master's degree in public policy in September 2024, after studying history and politics at Lincoln College, Oxford.
Belgian royal journalist Wim Dehandschutter previously told Best Quality Designer Handbag . "Elisabeth is about to embark on her breakthrough year. She will graduate from Harvard University in the US in May and will then most likely take up her active role in the royal family. On 25 October, she will celebrate her 25th birthday. A symbolic age that marks her new status within the monarchy."
Despite only a handful of public appearances in Belgium last year amid her studies, Wim says that the princess's popularity is "unprecedented" in the royal family's recent history.
Once Elisabeth plays an active role in public life, Wim explains that she will have her own office in the palace, as well as a team of advisors, and her court and staff, as well as an endowment of around one million euros.

Prince William left blushing
The Prince of Wales was left blushing and in stitches on Friday during a memorable visit to the Isles of Scilly.
William, 43, was touring a newly built facility at the island's hospital, getting a firsthand look at the 'Island’s View' rooms and meeting some of the elderly residents who are preparing to move in.
Among the locals was 94-year-old Dot Elvin, who stole the show with her cheeky proposition. As the Prince introduced himself, Dot asked: "Are you coming to stay?"
William responded: "Stay in your room? There's only one bed, Dot. It might be a bit cosy!" "I don’t care," interjected Dot. William roared with laughter and slapped his leg, commenting: "Well in that case, Dot, I’m sure we’ll come to some sort of arrangement."
The royal was caught off guard and was left laughing at the flirty encounter. Watch the hilarious encounter here!
Prince Harry delivers moving message
Prince Harry has shared a moving message of gratitude to mark 15 years since the end of the Iraq War for British forces.
Speaking to GB News, Prince Harry praised the "courage, duty and sacrifice" of those who served. The Duke, a veteran himself, released a poignant statement honoring the legacy of the Armed Forces:
"Fifteen years on from the end of the Iraq War, we remember with profound gratitude the brave men and women who served their country with courage, duty and sacrifice. Today, we honour not only those who paid the ultimate price, but also the veterans and families who continue to carry the visible and invisible wounds of war. Their strength, resilience and service must never be forgotten."
Harry's words coincided with a national commemoration service organized by the Royal British Legion at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire. The solemn ceremony brought together veterans and families to remember the conflict and honour the lives lost and changed by the war.
'Chaotic' school run for Princess Kate
They may be the future King and Queen, but the Prince and Princess of Wales face the exact same morning madness as parents everywhere!
During an appearance on Heart Radio on Friday morning, Prince William, 43, gave listeners a hilarious, down-to-earth glimpse into what he describes as a "chaotic" daily school run with Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
When hosts Amanda Holden and Jamie Theakston asked if their mornings are a bit hectic, William laughed:"It can be. It depends if there’s a guitar lesson going on in the morning... you’ve got to get the guitar in the car. 'No, we’re not taking the guitar; we need the bag for school. Are we boarding? No, we're not. Are we seeing friends? No, we’re not.' So there’s all that going on in the morning."
William also revealed that on-the-go snacks are a must-have for the kids - but they're very messy eaters.
"There’s a lot of jam sandwiches taken in the car usually," William shared. "Louis will leave jam fingerprints throughout the car, which is really helpful."
