During the band's hiatus in the 2000s, Gwen started a solo career as a pop artist, resulting in the album Love. Angel. Music. Baby. The album was a huge success, featuring hit singles What You Waiting For? and Hollaback Girl. She was previously married to English musician Gavin Rossdale, however the pair parted ways in 2016 after a 14-year marriage. The pair share three sons: Kingston, Apollo and Zuma. Gwen is now engaged to American TV star Blake Shelton, whom she met whilst judging The Voice in 2014. The couple revealed their engagement in October 2020.
