Gwen Stefani proves that age is just a number. The Grammy-winning singer showed off her toned abs as she posed in fishnets, an orange crop top and matching short-shorts ahead of No Doubt's reunion residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas.
The 56-year-old singer gave her 17.7 million Instagram followers a "first look" at one of the many outfits she intends to wear to her upcoming shows. The color was a nod to both the band's seminal album, Tragic Kingdom, which featured Gwen holding an orange, and the bandmates' hometown of Orange County.
In the Instagram photo, the former Voice judge smiled and posed to No Doubt's 1995 hit song, "Stricken." And fans absolutely lost their minds.
One commented: "We love Stricken !! Omggggg if you guys play this song in Vegas – I will actually cry. I'm already going to cry, but for sure to this song also lol." Another wrote: "I hope u play this at the sphere omg ily."
When the residency was first announced, famous fans shared their excitement too. Reese Witherspoon commented on the Instagram post: "WHATTTTTT???!!! IM SO EXCITED."
Gwen wasn't the only member of the band to wear the bright orange outfit. Her fellow founding members – Tom Dumont, Tony Kanal, and Adrian Young – posed with her in front of a print of their 1995 album.
When is No Doubt playing at The Sphere?
The iconic rock band is reuniting to perform at the Sphere this May and June. Their 18-show residency at the Las Vegas venue comes two years after No Doubt reunited for two weekends at Coachella and 31 years after their seminal album, Tragic Kingdom.
When their residency at the Sphere was announced in October 2025, Gwen said: "The opportunity to create a show at [the] Sphere excites me in a new way. The venue is unique and modern and it opens up a whole new visual palette for us to be creative."
She continued: "Doing it with No Doubt feels like going back in time to relive our history, while also creating something new in a way we never could have imagined."
Gwen's iconic No Doubt outfits
No Doubt formed in 1986 and released their first album in 1992. The four original members made themselves Hollywood A-listers through their many hit songs and head-turning outfits.
In 1998, at the 40th Annual Grammys, Gwen wore braids, a red long sleeve shirt, and bright red lipstick. That same year, the singer sported a sky-blue bikini top with matching blue-dyed hair to the MTV Music Video Awards in Los Angeles, California.
Over the years, the singer has leaned into different themes. In the 2000s, Gwen and her bandmates wore red plaid often, including at the Super Bowl XXXVI in February, embracing the punk-rock and grunge style that inspired them.
After Gwen went solo in 2004, she adopted the Harajuku style when she released her single, "Harajuku Girls." Twenty years later, in a 2023 interview with Allure, Gwen explained her connection to the style, saying: "That was my Japanese influence and that was a culture that was so rich with tradition, yet so futuristic [with] so much attention to art and detail and discipline and it was fascinating to me."
