As awards season gathers momentum, all eyes are once again on Emma Stone – not only for her Best Actress nomination at the Oscars but also for her strikingly different red carpet appearances.

The 37-year-old Oscar winner has long been known for reinventing her look for roles and fashion moments alike, but her recent outings have sparked renewed conversation among fans.

Emma turned heads in Paris while attending the Louis Vuitton show during Paris Fashion Week in late 2025, where she stepped out in a fitted cream midi dress paired with a cropped cardigan. The polished, understated ensemble highlighted her softly sculpted features, prompting online observers to remark that she appeared "completely different" from her earlier public persona.

Fans claimed Emma's face looks 'completely different'

Although Emma has not spoken about her transformation publicly, one fan asked if the photo was AI-generated, while another said: "she looks like a yasified version of herself." Taking to social media, many claimed that the person in the photo looked nothing like Emma as "her face is completely different." One commented: "I would've guessed ten different people before guessing that this was Emma Stone." A second said: "That's NOT Emma Stone." A third added: "Who is this person?" Another claimed: "Is Emma Stone about to be on a witness protection program??? Her face is completely different!"

The star underwent a dramatic change at the Venice Film Festival while promoting Bugonia. For the role, Emma shaved her head before debuting a short pixie cut dyed a copper-auburn shade described by hairstylist Tracey Cunningham as "Spiced Sienna." The bold choice underscored Emma's reputation as a fearless performer willing to physically transform for her craft.

Throughout her career, Emma has consistently embraced reinvention. She first rose to prominence in the late 2000s with a fresh-faced, girl-next-door image and signature red hair that quickly became her trademark. As her career matured, so did her aesthetic, evolving into a more polished, fashion-forward presence on red carpets and magazine covers.

In recent years, she has favoured minimalist beauty looks and sleek tailoring, often opting for softer colour palettes and modern silhouettes. Her pared-back style contrasts sharply with the vibrant, playful image she projected during her early Hollywood years, reflecting both personal growth and a shifting industry landscape.

As she heads into the Oscars spotlight once again, Emma's transformation serves as a reminder of the fluid nature of celebrity identity. Whether through bold hair changes, fashion experimentation or deeply immersive performances, she continues to evolve – leaving audiences fascinated by both her talent and her ever-changing look.
