Lisa Kudrow's son Julian Murray Stern is making his mark on screen - and she's feeling all the emotions!
The Friends actress, 62, appears alongside her only child in season three of The Comeback, an experience neither of them will forget.
What's more, they got into character so much, that Lisa forgot at times that Julian was actually her son, something she admitted caused her a "little bit of guilt," per nine.com.au.
She added that it was "really thrilling," and described the experience as "heaven", as it was the first time they had worked together.
Mother-son relationship
There were other moments when doting mom Lisa forgot that she was on set with her son.
The star recalled to People a funny off-camera moment where she was "kind of tired" while backstage and saw her son sitting on the couch with other people.
Lisa said she "just walked over and climbed into the couch right next to him and cuddled in," which prompted Julian to simply say "Hi mom."
"Everyone was looking, it was maybe inappropriate to climb on him. I think some people didn't know he was my son. So they were still wondering 'What's happening right now?'"
Julian's nerves
Julian admitted he was "very nervous" acting alongside his famous mom for the very first time. Talking to Entertainment Tonight at The Comeback premiere in LA, he added: "We do bits in the house sometimes, we do little sketches sometimes, but I've never been in front of a camera with her."
He joked that Lisa had told him that she thought he would be great for the part. "He's a nerdy, introverted guy," she told him. "I'm like, 'Okay, thanks, great,'" he recalled, adding that his mom thought it would be a good opportunity for him and that they should "run with it."
What else has Julian been in?
Julian, 27, graduated from the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts in 2021, and has appeared in several TV shows and films, including TV movie Doomed and sketch-comedy series That's Hollywood, Baby.
Julian has also worked on the TV series Presley & Brook as an editor, as well as shorts The Voiceless Man and In Lieu of Longing.
According to his college's website, he won a First Look faculty jury award for his work as an editor on the 2022 comedy short film Wish Upon A Disco Ball.
Proud mom
It's safe to say Lisa is incredibly proud of her only child, who she shares with husband Michael Stern. Back in 2018, she opened up about motherhood ahead of his move to college. Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live, she said: "I feel like I did a good job injecting him with the right amount of fear."
