Gigi Hadid traded her long, mousy-hued locks for a daring pixie cut, all in the name of Miu Miu's latest campaign, which debuted on April 1. The supermodel took to Instagram to share the advertisement with her followers.
Fronting the '26 leather goods campaign, Gigi posed with a series of colourful Matelassé Leather Wander Top-Handle Bags from the Italian fashion house. However, what stole the show was her new hairstyle. Gigi debuted a striking blonde pixie cut with face-framing bangs in a much lighter hue than her typical tresses. The look is inspired by Twiggy's signature cut in the 1960s.
The hairdo was styled with an elegant grey sweater layered over a white blouse and teamed with an A-line midi skirt, all signature staples from Miu Miu's collection. "miuccia, meisel, and me. @miumiu ‘26 leather goods by @stevenmeiselofficial @lottavolkova @guidopalau @patmcgrathreal @jinsoon @maryhoward_setdesign and their wonderful teams continuing this partnership is an honor, so much gratitude to Mrs. P and the whole miu miu family for their warmth and generosity always x @preia @veesback @ashleybrokaw @luizmattos1906," penned Gigi in the caption.
In another photograph, she modelled a green skirt and brown sweater with an ivory leather handbag. The follow snap captured her posing with a mustard-yellow skirt and a pale blue bag.
Celebrity Hairdresser Jay Birmingham spoke to us about Gigi's new look."I love this look on Gigi! The layering is incredibly refined, there’s just enough texture through the crown to create movement, but it’s still controlled- nothing too choppy or aggressive," he shared.
"That's what gives it that high-fashion, editorial finish rather than reading as a casual crop. To keep the texture controlled, I'd opt for the Jay B Haircare Split Seal Serum to soften the layers and add a gorgeous shine. I also love how the sides are gently tapered without being tight. It keeps the silhouette soft and balanced, which is essential with a look this short."

The supermodel has previously opened up about how she maintains her luscious locks. "I put on a hat because I like ease," she told Vogue in March 2025. "Find what makes you feel good with your hair in the easiest way possible, like a great headband, and get it in all the colors. So for a good hair day, find what works for you and makes you feel great fast."
