Oscar winning actress Lee Grant was born Lyova Haskell Rosenthal on 31 October, 1925. She got her start on Actor's Studio in 1948 and Primetime Emmy nominated series The Web.
She is best known for roles in 1967 mystery In the Heat of the Night and David Lynch thriller Mulholland Drive.

Star career
Lee Grant won an Oscar for Best Actress in a Supporting Role and was nominated for the prize three additional times.
Her best-known roles include parts on In the Heat of the Night in 1967, 2001 thriller Mulholland Drive and starring appearance in Damien: Omen II.

Lee's marriage to Arnold Manoff
Lee tied the knot with screenwriter and novelist Arnold Manoff in 1951. During their marriage they welcomed daughter Dinah, going their separate ways in 1960.
Born on 25 April 1914, Arnold Manoff co-wrote 1944 war drama Man from Frisco, penned crime feature My Buddy (1944) and wrote 1948 comedy No Minor Vices.

Dinah Manoff
Actress Dinah Manoff was born on 25 January 1956. She got her start on '70s sitcom Welcome Back, Kotter and drama series Visions.
Dinah is best known for her role as Marty Maraschino in Grease, as Maggie Peterson in Child's Play and casting as Carol Weston in 170 episodes of Empty Nest.

Grease is the word
Grease wouldn't be the classic it is today without the Pink Ladies, and one key member who had her eyes firmly set on presenter Vince Fontaine when his TV crew appears to film the Rydell High dance.
When not flirting with Vince, Marty was happily coupled up with T-Bird Sonny LaTierri and the two seem to have found their high school happily ever after by the film's end.

Dinah's personal life
Dinah is a mother of three and has tied the knot twice, marrying Jean-Marc Joubert in 1980 and splitting five years later, then wedding now-husband, real estate broker Arthur Mortell, in 1997.
She and Arthur moved away from the limelight to raise their three children, sons Dashiell, Oliver and Desi.

Lee's marriage to Joseph Feury
After Lee Grant's split from her first husband, the actress found love again with Joseph Feury, saying 'I do' in 1962. The film producer and TV actor worked as assistant director to Lee on Oscar-winning documentary film Down and Out in America.
He is also credited as a producer on Kirk and Michael Douglas documentary A Father... A Son... Once Upon a Time in Hollywood alongside Lee, who also directed the feature.
