Anne Hathaway has dominated the red carpet over the past week thanks to the premieres of Devil Wears Prada 2 and Mother Mary.
The 43-year-old looks as incredible as ever, and has received numerous compliments on her youthful appearance. Many fans observe that she hasn't aged since the first Devil Wears Prada premiere back in 2006.
Anne has not only been blessed with great genes but has also adopted healthy lifestyle habits over the past few years that have only enhanced them. This includes giving up alcohol - a decision she made when her oldest son Jonathan was a toddler.
During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in January 2019, the Mother Mary star revealed: "I quit drinking back in October. I'm going to stop drinking while my son's living in my house just because I don't totally love the way I do it, and he's getting to an age where he really does need me all the time in the morning."
She added that she had experienced dropping her little boy off to school while hungover one morning, and didn't want to repeat it again. "That was enough for me. I didn't love that one," she said.
Anne has since spoken more about her decision to be sober, and opened up about the five-day hangovers she used to suffer.
Chatting to Modern Luxury in 2019, she said: "I didn't put it down because my drinking was a problem; I put it down because the way I drink leads me to have hangovers and those were the problem.
"My last hangover lasted for five days. When I'm at a stage in my life where there is enough space for me to have a hangover, I'll start drinking again, but that won't be until my kid is out of the house."
Anne has adopted a healthy mindset when it comes to going out and socialising too. In 2024, she told Vanity Fair: "It's a path everybody has to walk for themselves. My personal experience with it is that everything is better. For me, it was wallowing fuel. And I don't like to wallow.
"The thing that I have faith in is that everybody else is going to have one or two drinks, and by the time everybody gets to two drinks, you'll feel like you've had two drinks — but without the hangover."
Anne lives in Southern California with her husband Adam Shulman and their two sons, Jonathan, ten, and Jack, six.
