Who is Bobby Cannavale?
Born on 3 May 1970, Bobby Cannavale started out on-screen in 1996 legal thriller Night Falls on Manhattan alongside Andy Garcia and I'm Not Rappaport the same year.
He's best known for roles in The Station Agent (2003), Ant-Man (2015) and hit series Scarpetta (2026).

First marriage to Jenny Lumet
Bobby tied the knot for the first and, to date, only time in 1994. He wed actress and screenwriter Jenny Lumet, who wrote Anne Hathaway drama Rachel Getting Married and co-wrote CBS series Clarice.
The couple welcomed their only child Jake Cannavale on 1 May 1995, a year after they married. Jenny and Bobby parted ways in 2003.

Partner Rose Byrne
After his divorce from Jenny, Bobby found love with Bridesmaids actress Rose Byrne. Rose has worked on projects like If I Had Legs I'd Kick You (2025), Bad Neighbours (2014) and 2007 horror 28 Weeks Later.
Rose has also worked opposite Bobby's Scarpetta co-star Simon Baker on rom-com I Give It A Year (2013). The couple share two children, sons Rocco and Rafael.

Jake Cannavale
Born on 1 May 1995, Jake Cannavale is the oldest son of Bobby Cannavale and bears a striking resemblance to his actor father, making use of his lookalike good looks on Scarpetta as the younger version of Pete Marino, played by his father.
As well as joining Scarpetta's stacked cast, featuring the likes of Nicole Kidman and Jamie Lee Curtis, Jake's starred in 2026 rom-com F... Valentine's Day and 2023 thriller Inside Man.

Rocco Cannavale, 10
After separating from his first wife, Bobby welcomed two children with his long-term partner Rose Byrne. The couple welcomed their first son Rocco on 1 February 2016.
Now 10, Bobby has described his son Rocco as 'sensitive' on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert: "[He] is always singing and dancing."

Rafael 'Rafa' Cannavale, 8
Born on 16 November 2017, Rafael 'Rafa' Cannavale is the youngest of Bobby's three children. The actor has opened up about his youngest sons' very different characters, describing Rafa as 'tough'.
"We call [Rafa] 'Seal Team 6' because he's crazy and he's a killer," he explained. "The little one is just tough."
