Katie Holmes undergoes bold 'transformation' to her appearance and fans will go wild

Katie Holmes ushered in spring with a fresh haircut and color that feel perfectly suited to the season, as warmer weather inspires a shift toward lighter, brighter shades. The actress stepped out in style for an event celebrating designer Christopher John Rogers’s new collaboration with Old Navy.

The 47-year-old, long synonymous with her signature glossy brunette lengths, has traded them in for a champagne-blonde hue styled in a tousled bob – and the result is utterly chic. Styled into a side parting with soft waves, Katie's new hairstyle is perfect for the warmer months. 

Unlike a center part, a side part introduces asymmetry that can instantly make hair appear fuller while giving the overall style a more dramatic, bold finish.

As for her ensemble, the actress donned a mustard-yellow long sleeve top with a pair of slouchy jeans and pointed-toe black pumps. 

Seung Ki Baek, Rush Artistic Team Member, spoke to us about Katie's new look. "Kate Holmes’ new hair is glossy and absolutely beaming with health!" they shared. "Her signature chocolate brown colour has been transformed into a golden champagne blonde with highlights blended throughout to add depth and dimension to her base. The placement of the lighter pieces is strategic, achieving a more voluminous look with focus on the top of the hair and framing her face, amping up the texture and movement."

Kate has also gone shorter for the change in season, opting for a choppy mid-length bob. With a heart face shape, her sharp jawline and gorgeous high cheekbones are her most defining features – this pairs beautifully this layered cut," they added.

On April 15, Katie attended a screening of Brunello: The Gracious Visionary alongside her Dawson's Creek co-star, Joshua Jackson. The pair both arrived wearing Brunello Cucinelli. Katie looked elegant in a white button-down that was worn off one shoulder to reveal a single black bra strap. The top was teamed with an embellished gray skirt that fell dramatically to the floor with a graceful silhouette. Katie's makeup oozed soft glam, courtesy of a smoky eye and berry lip and her locks were styled into a voluminous blowout.

Meanwhile, Joshua donned an oxblood blazer with a pair of gray pants and a sophisticated bow tie.

Brunello: The Gracious Visionary is a docudrama that follows the designer’s path from a humble upbringing in the countryside, where he grew up without electricity or running water, to his current position as the billionaire founder behind the brand.
